What is the BizX international exchange program?
BizX is a formal exchange program available to both Undergraduate Commerce and MBA students. BizX involves outgoing students studying abroad in one of the program’s 49 partner schools for one or two semesters, and incoming students studying here at McMaster.
Over 1000 students have already participated on an exchange through BizX. We encourage you to consider participating too!
The BizX Program was founded in 1992. Its first partner school was the BI Norwegian Business School.
Why should I participate in an international exchange?
It has become increasingly important for individuals and organizations to compete in the international marketplace. The most successful business leaders of tomorrow will be those who are comfortable crossing national and cultural boundaries.
Through the BizX Program, you will develop a broader perspective of the world, which will help you to view challenges in a new way and prepare you for success in today’s global economy.
Going abroad is an opportunity for you to distinguish yourself with your classmates. The BizX Program offers an unparalleled opportunity for immersion in another culture, often in another language. You will expand your global network and have experiences that will make you stand out with employers.
Furthermore, the experiences you will gain and the people that you will meet will be unforgettable!
Don’t take our word for it. Read what our students have to say about their exchange experience.
